Award requirements are:

1. Applicant must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA

2. Applicant must be a full-time Graduate student (including online courses(

3. Applicant must be a Texas resident in the Permian Basin

4. Application must include a 500-word minimum personal statement explaining how receiving this award would aid the applicant

5. Applicant must remain in good standing with the program

6. Applicant must be considered a low-income individual.

Note: The term "low-income individual" means an individual whose family's taxable income for the preceding year did not exceed 150 percent of the federal poverty level amount.
