Project IDEA Summer Bridge Experience - 2025

Thursday, May 29, 2025 until Friday, May 30, 2025

This event will be a free two-day summer bridge event aimed at preparing Hispanic and low-income students for college by providing academic, social, and financial preparation. The program will equip students with confidence building skills and scaffolding the knowledge they need to be successful in their college search and the classroom.

The event will include workshops, panels, speakers, and group discussions. The focus of these sessions will be on college readiness, financial aid/literacy, mental wellness, and career/major exploration. Staff from other departments such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Success, Career Services, Athletics, Academic Affairs, Psychological Services, and current college students will all play a role in ensuring the success of the event.

All rising 11th and 12th graders, as well as Spring 2025 high school graduates interested in exploring postsecondary education are welcome to attend. Parents will also be encouraged to attend morning sessions both days.
