Eligibility Requirements for master’s student applicants:

Full admission into a UTPB on-ground program (Athletic Training, Biology, Computer Science, Counseling, Geology, Finance, History, Mathematics, MBA, Mech. Engineering, Professional Education, Psychology)
Undergraduate / Graduate minimum GPA of 3.00
Enrollment in at least 9 credit hours; 6 credit hours must be in face-to-face courses
Cannot be the recipient of any other scholarships or a graduate assistantship

Eligibility Requirements for master’s student applicants:

Full admission into a UTPB on-ground undergraduate program
Accelerated master’s pathway (AMP) student internal application (copy of fully completed and signed application) with AMP degree plan
Undergraduate GPA : 3.00
Enrollment in at least 3 graduate credit hours (or a maximum of 6 graduate credit hours) must be in face-to-face courses
This scholarship is paid only towards the tuition of the graduate course

This scholarship may be renewed on a semester-by-semester basis for up to two academic years provided the recipient maintains all eligibility requirements. Award is $1,000 per academic year; meeting all eligibility requirements does not guarantee an award.
