This is a call for all designers who are in 10th-12th grades. The workshops will be held at the UTPB Charles Sorber Visual arts Studios.
Day 1 - Introduction to UI/UX & Defining the Problem
Objective - Introduce the UI/UX process, problem-solving, and the basics of user-centered design. Assignment - Define a problem and come up with an idea for an app
Day 2: Ideation & Low-Fidelity Wireframing
Objective - Students will start sketching their app’s key screens and plan how users will navigate it. Assignment - Create wireframes for main screens (3-5 screens).
Day 3: Digital Wireframing in Figma
Objective - Introduce Figma and have students create digital wireframes. Assignment - Create a digital version of the wireframes in Figma (2-3 key screens).
Day 4: Prototyping & User Testing
Objective - Students will create a simple prototype in Figma and test each other’s designs. Assignment - Build a clickable prototype and perform usability testing.
