About this Scholarship:

The Impact BHS Scholarship is for student's in the graduate programs of 1) counseling, 2) clinical psychology, or 3) social work programs.
Funding is awarded through various federal, state, and institutional funds to qualifying students

About this Scholarship:

Students enrolling in graduate programs in counseling, school counseling, clinical psychology, or social work programs are eligible. The program will cover tuition and mandatory fees, not including books or incidentals for a limited number of students. This scholarship program is competitive and renewable for up to 3 years. Funding is awarded through various federal, state, and institutional funds to qualifying students

Eligibility Requirements

The Initial Award will be based on:

Admittance into a qualifying graduate program (mental health counseling, school counseling, clinical psychology, social work)
Holistic review of scholarship application
By the start of your first enrolled term, you must be a resident of one of the following counties: Midland, Ector, Reeves, Pecos, Loving, Ward, Winkler, Culberson, Andrews, Martin, Gaines, Howard, Glasscock, Reagan, Upton, Crane, Terrell, Crockett, Yoakum, Eddy, Lea, or Chaves. Residency will be confirmed during the Admissions process.

Renewal

Must be enrolled full-time in the counseling, clinical psychology or social work graduate programs as outlined by your program of study.
Maintain a 3.0 average each semester and be in good standing in their respective program;
Pass the required dispositional review; continue progressing towards degree completion with limited withdrawal/drops from classes; and
Must maintain residency in one of the following counties: Midland, Ector, Reeves, Pecos, Loving, Ward, Winkler, Culberson, Andrews, Martin, Gaines, Howard, Glasscock, Reagan, Upton, Crane, Terrell, Crockett, Yoakum, Eddy, Lea, or Chaves.

Submission Statement

I understand this scholarship requires me to be enrolled full time, as outlined by my respective degree program. As this is a community impact initiative, three years of service as a licensed counselor, social worker, or psychological associate after graduation is preferred, but not required. By submitting this application, I agree that the information provided is accurate representation of my credentials and my intention to meet the requirements of this scholarship.
