About this Scholarship:
The MISD Fast Track Scholarship is for student's in UTPB's EPP Fast Track Teacher Certification program who are currently employed with Midland ISD. Funding is awarded through various external and institutional funds to qualifying students
What is your current student type:
New Admit: Students who have applied this semester for the EPP Fast Track program listed above and have not yet completed any program classes
Current Student: Students currently enrolled/taking classes in the EPP Fast Track program listed above
Students enrolled in the EPP Fast Track Teacher Certification Program who are employed with MISD may qualify for this scholarship and are encourage to apply. The MISD Fast Track scholarship will cover 100% of institutional tuition and mandatory program fees for up to 5 courses, for a limited number of students. Scholarship awardees will also be provided resources to cover the cost of books. This scholarship will not cover any non-mandatory fees housed outside of the College of Education or EPP program. This scholarship program is competitive and renewable for up to 1 academic year, or a maximum of 3 academic terms. Funding is awarded through various institutional funds to qualifying students.

I understand this scholarship requires me to be continuously enrolled, and making satisfactory progress towards certification as outlined by the EPP FAST TRACK program. I am aware, to maintain renewal eligibility, I must: maintain a 2.5 GPA; not drop/withdrawal from any of my registered courses, unless via approved compassionate/medical withdrawal or instructor approved incomplete; maintain active employment with MISD. By submitting this application, I agree that the information provided is accurate representation of my credentials and my intention to meet the requirements of this scholarship.
