Impact Healthcare Scholarship

Please note: Applications will be accepted until May 1, but awards are made to qualified applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Funds are expected to be exhausted prior to May 1. Apply early for best consideration!

Scholarship candidates must:

1) attend UT Permian Basin with intent to major in Nursing or a pre-health major. 
2) Must be a permanent resident of the Permian Basin. Counties include:

Texas

• Ector
• Midland
• Andrews
• Brewster
• Crane
• Culberson
• Dawson
• Gaines
• Glasscock
• Howard
• Loving
• Martin
• Pecos
• Reagan
• Reeves
• Terrell
• Upton
• Ward
• Winkler

New Mexico

• Chaves
• Eddy
• Lea

3) apply and be admitted to UT Permian Basin for fall 2025.
4) exhibit rigorous course selection, participation, and academic performance. 
5) Must be willing to make a three-year commitment to work in the Permian Basin following graduation from UT Permian Basin. Employment must be in nursing, pre-health, or health-related career that is in relation to the degree the student earned at UT Permian Basin with Impact Healthcare Scholarship funding.
